HELLOOOO!!!

so on the 9th April 2013,
we FINALLY got to print our monograms on our stuff :D SO MUCH FUN.

Anyway,
here's practically how the day went...

my next victim was my notebook,

this is a family portrait of my, Lina's and Aliff's stuff :)

My cutting mat also became a victim.

HELLO HELLO!

Well,

today ( 26th March)

We brought our requested tools.
the likes of

Plastic pieces A4 size, Cutting mat, cutter, pencils, and all that jazz

And i have done a research on how to make my own stencils based on a video i found

Anyway, today, we started on our stencils cutting.

Family portrait of my monogram. haahahah

I headed to the library to print it out to different sizes so i can easily manoeuvre from one size to another according to the item i want to print my monogram on :D

First cut out of my stencil....

as you can see i changed my 'dot' on my 'i' to a slanted triangle. this is because it seems much more fitted into the whole straight lines throughout the whole monogram

Commence MONOGRAM MODE

HELLO!

So after the opening of Pixel Square Arcade, we got ourselves a new assignment...
And its basically,

Now, to start things off, a monogram is "A motif of two or more letters, typically a person's initials, usually interwoven or otherwise combined in a decorative design, used as a logo or an identity"

And I've done my own researches

examples of monograms.

 and started with a few sketches for my own....

And well, today (25th March) we proposed our ideas to Ms Lisa and gotten feedbacks from her.

And she chose a couple of mine and added a few of hers as well. -THANKYOU :*

 This were the semi-finalised ideas

 well basically, these designs were chosen because Ms lisa figured I really wasn't the cursive type,

As i was more to the straight, to the point, doing work type,

though i am not ALWAYS like that. As i do go crazy from time to time, which is why my dot for the "i" is not a legit circle, but more of an oval or slightly slanted. To give it that whimsical feel to it.

At the end, 

this was chosen :)

I know, Im rather late with the updates about the arcade thing.
Dont blame me, the thing aint as easy as it seems....

On Sunday, 24rd February 2013

Me and Lina had came over to campus (well, lina, cus i live on campus and i always return to campus on sundays xD )

Well, ANYWAY, we were both at campus and went to 2D studio and started measuring and stuff like that. Just to get a measurement and an idea of how to start with our whack a mole project.

And ohmyGod. It is more work than i thought it was going to be... ._.

Anyway.

Lina's writing down as I measure the table and estimate the size of our project.

Next day, 25th February!

Already starting to work on the hammer! LALALALA WHACK WHACK WHACK

WOOO! NEARLY DONE!

After that, we actually unknowingly let a week pass by without any progression -___- I have no idea what we did. I think we were looking for boxes and thinking of the signage and the week just flew by!

We aimed to finish the boxes by tonight. Lets hope it gets done!

 Right after english class, we worked our butts off.

Taping the boxes together.

We werent alone though,

the presence of the others made work seem rather light and fun.
