MA POSTER IS COMPLETE

Well, the title said it all!

TADAAAAAA
In this, i LOVE how the negative space collaborate with the colours and it balances the whole poster to make it soooo harmonised.

And i have to thank Ms Lisa for that :D

Presentation in class.
Poster+stenciled products :)

From this class, I cant thank Ms Lisa enough for introducing this to us. This has been so much fun and I'm proud of my own monogram. And who knows? I might see my monograms all over the world someday?

Whattttt?

A girl can hope, no? ;)

POSTER MA MONOGRAM

Tuesday , 16th April 2013

So today, we had to come to class and start printing our posters for our monogram.

AN A2 SIZE POSTER, mind you.

And well basically, i was at a lost of inspiration, which is, sad

very. sad.

Anyhoo, by the time i reached class, some form of idea slowly came to me.

Well, just let the pictures do the talking aite?

printed a giant ass monogram
(with the poster needing to be A2 and all)

Weeeee~ cutting skills are improving :3

DAB DAB DAB

Here's one of my poster.
Will probably add more later on. but rather happy with this one. though you cant really see it.
I'll post a better photo when its done :)

Here's one where i got a tad carried away, i had scrunched up paper and dabbed it in paint and started attacking my A2 mounting board, and it created a sorta messy rose print. It looks pretty from far, but heck messy up close xD hahahhaah oh well xD

ANYHOO, WE GOT NEWS THAT WE MIGHT HEAD TO A BATIK FACTORY SOON! <3 <3 <3

sketch, cut, print, STENCIL!

HELLO HELLO!

Well,

today ( 26th March)

We brought our requested tools.
the likes of

Plastic pieces A4 size, Cutting mat, cutter, pencils, and all that jazz

And i have done a research on how to make my own stencils based on a video i found

HOW TO MAKE A STENCIL?  (click it :P)

Anyway, today, we started on our stencils cutting.

Family portrait of my monogram. haahahah
I headed to the library to print it out to different sizes so i can easily manoeuvre from one size to another according to the item i want to print my monogram on :D
First cut out of my stencil....
as you can see i changed my 'dot' on my 'i' to a slanted triangle. this is because it seems much more fitted into the whole straight lines throughout the whole monogram

My first victim....
my notebook.

The left side is the print..
the right side is the stencil...

AND THE FOLLOWING WEEK IS A HOLIDAY

WEE HOOO....?

no.
