GROUP ASSIGNMENT

well, on the 19th of February,

it was the second batch's turn to present their as they were absent yesterday (missed our great deal of work. Their lost i must say :P )

Anyhoo, on this day, we got our new assignment, AND ITS A GROUP ASSIGNMENT

WINDOW DISPLAYS

yeah, our new assignment is window displays, so by this alone, we already know that it'll be a big one like our previous big assignment back in Semester 1 . And hopefully it'll be just as spectacular.

Anyway, we had to decide what our theme would be. So we had a big voting session. After a while, we finally had our themes and its DADADAAAAAA " OLD FASHION GAMES"

SO OUR CLASS WOULD BE TURNED INTO AN ARCADE.

With 3 middle windows being turned into screens and a table placed beneath it ( at an angle) acting as game consoles ;

  • Tetris
  • Super Mario
  • Pacman

2 table games;

  • Whack-a-mole
  • Air Hockey
And a life size checker board on the classroom floor.

Well, ofcourse, we were divided into groups to delegate the work load evenly.

dont mind the handwriting, lost my stylus -.-

Anyway, as you can see, I'm in the whack-a-mole team with Lina and Aliff, (honestly i wanted Pacman [favourite game, EVER, i must add) but the other team beat me to it. hah.) But i dont mind really, Whack-A-Mole is a fun game too.

And here are some of Zue's sketches (top sketcher, HUEHUEHUE)

But ofcourse, we did our research, just to get ourself started.

So yeah, this my dear people, is a Whack-A-Mole game :D the objective of this game is basically to whack as a many moles that pop up with the hammer thing that the game comes with. :D

And here's Perera and Lina working hard :)

sketches :D

Denny and Ajiem
(well, these two are busy playing games :P )

Till here for now :)

Taking the term "THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX" to a whole new level

HELLLOOO :D

As I had said in the previous post,
ITS ALL ABOUT

EXPRESSING YOUR INNER SQUARE
or
THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX
simply to put.

And (once again) this is our assignment.

And this is basically what I’ve been doing throughout the holiday!
Once again, I find that I must express my growing fascination for paper cutting! Hahaha.
Mehhhh, hopefully I’ll get better at it soon. XD

Anyhooooooo,

LETS GET STARTED EYHH :D

Well, for my asymmetrical box design, I had gone BUBBLE CRAZY. Well circles… but you get what I mean.

And the above photo shows that Ive been playing around with the placements of each circle. And well,

HERE'S A SNEAK PEEK :)

+ ASYMMETRICAL

MOVING ONNNNN ~

Now its for the symmetrical design!

Unfortunately I totally forgot to take progress shots *facepalm

So instead, we'll skip all that mumbo jumbo and

TADAAAAA

SNEAK PEAK :D

+SYMMETRICAL

But I must be perfectly honest,
Coming up with the symmetrical design, was particularly tricky for me. I kept on creating asymmetrical designs.

HERE! I’LL PROVE IT TO YOU!
SEEEEEEE?!

Non stop with the asymmetrical designs. Hahaha
I had fun though J

So its not a TOTAL LOSS
haha

AND NOW

IT

IS TIME

TO REVEAL

THE FINAL OUTCOME

WAHAHA ANNNDD IM DONE.

TILL NEXT TIME THEN YOU LOTS J

TOOTLES :*
